April 3, 2025

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Auto Collision & Glass partnered up with the National Auto Body Council (NABC), GEICO and WNY Heros to gift a vehicle to a local veteran who desperately needed it. The vehicle received was donated by Geico, all the time and energy that went into the repairs of the vehicle was donated by Auto Collision and Glass and their team.

The recipient, Matthew Summers, is a disabled Army Veteran who served from January 2008 -March of 2013, and in Afghanistan from June 2009 until June of 2010. Matthew has a wife and a three-year-old son. They did not have any reliable transportation and with Matt needing to go to many medical appointments and his wife needing to work, this vehicle could not have come at a better time.

We are extremely honored to participate in this program. Auto Collision & Glass has been part of this program for over 10 years. We have given away 4 vehicles in the last 3 years, and we will continue to for many years to come.
We would like to thank the NABC, GEICO, WNY Heros as well as our sponsors for this event, Joe Basil Chevy, 3M, Axalta, NCS and Enterprise. These companies are huge supporters of the events that Auto Collision & Glass put on and we appreciate their support.

Lastly, we would like to thank Legislator Frank Todaro, Depew Mayor Kevin Peterson, and the Depew Trustees for attending the event, speaking at the event, and donating items to the family.
To Matthew, we would like to say, thank you for your service and we hope you enjoy your new ride!
